How to Join Your Team on Friendbuy

The first step towards a successful referral program is creating your Friendbuy account! In this article, we'll go over how you can easily create an account with us and join your team on your referral journey.

  1. Create your account by navigating to, and select the Create an Account hyperlink.

  1. Fill in the required details, then select Create an Account at the bottom of the page.

  1. You will now see the following screen, where you'll need to check your inbox for a confirmation email to continue the Account Creation process.

  1. Find the email in your inbox and click on the Activate My Account button. The subject of this email should be Activate your new Friendbuy account, if you're having trouble finding it!

  1. This will now take you to the login screen, where you can enter your login information and click Log In.
  2. After clicking Log In, you will be taken to this device verification screen. This will then send an email to your inbox that needs to be clicked through in order to verify your device.
Note: Fully clearing your browser cache or changing browsers will require this step again in the future.
  1. Locate the email in your inbox, which should have the Subject of Friendbuy new device login verification. Clicking on the Verify My Device button will open your browser and verify your device.
Note: Using an Incognito/Private window will require you to verify your device upon every login. For this reason, we do not recommend using an Incognito/Private window with the Friendbuy platform.
  1. If you have not been invited to a Team, you might see the message below. This means your user account does not have any invites from any merchants within Friendbuy. To learn more about how to be invited to a Team in Friendbuy, click here!
  1. Once invited to a Team, you'll be sent an email with the Subject Friendbuy invitation. From this email, click the Accept Invite button!
  1. This will then take you back to the login screen. Once you login, you will be navigated to the Merchant Select screen. This will show you pending team invitations you have, and after clicking Accept, you'll be in the platform and ready to go!
