How to Integrate Your Friendbuy Loyalty and Referral Program with Rise.ai to Issue Stackable Gift Cards and Account Credit

Integration Overview

Give your Advocates the ability to earn account credit in the form of Shopify Gift Cards for referring friends and give loyalty members the ability to earn Rise account credit through the Loyalty program. The credit will be available for review in their Shopify customer account dashboard through Rise Ai. Customers will then be able to redeem their credit at checkout.

Pre-Requisites

Must have both an active Friendbuy and Rise Ai account

Installation Instructions

  1. In your Rise Ai account, navigate to Integrations on the left-hand menu. Find the Friendbuy integration tile and toggle it On. This will automatically create the necessary Flow Trigger in Rise.
  1. The below message will appear. Then click Continue to Friendbuy, which will then redirect you to the Friendbuy platform.
  2. Enter your email address and password and click Log In.
  1. Select the Friendbuy merchant account you'd like to install your Rise integration on.
  2. In your Friendbuy account, navigate to Settings
  1. Then, navigate to Integrations
  1. Click the '+' sign on the Rise.ai tile, add your Shopify store name and then click the blue button Install Integration button.

Referral Reward Configuration

  1. Navigate to Referral on the left-hand menu and then click into the campaign you'd like to setup reward configuration for.
  1. Select Advocate Reward from the menu bar at the top and under Reward Settings select Rise.ai Account Credit from the dropdown.
  1. Enter the Currency and Reward Amount and then select how you'd like the reward to be triggered from the dropdown. Example below is Friend Makes a Purchase, so the referred friend would have to make a purchase in order for the Advocate to be rewarded with Rise account credit.
  1. Now your Advocate Reward configuration is complete, click Publish Changes to enable this for your campaign.

Loyalty Reward Configuration

  1. In your Friendbuy account, navigate to Loyalty > Earning Events in the left-hand menu.

  1. Select the earning event in which you'd like loyalty members to earn Rise account credit for completing. Then, under the reward configuration, add the reward amount and then from the dropdown, select Rise.ai Account Credit.
  2. Select the email you'd like to use to notify loyalty members that they've earned account credit for completing a loyalty action and then click Save Changes.
  1. You're now all set to drive revenue through Friendbuy's Rise Ai integration!
